buying a house in Denmark

Hi Everyone!
My name is Adam and I am new to this forum! Hi!

I moved to Denmark about a year and a half ago, and I would really like to get a house here.

I am British, and my wife and child are British too. We have permanent residence in DK, but we have British passports and citizenship.

I was wondering if anyone on here knew a good place to get info on mortgages, and also all the other fees you have to pay before you buy a house.

I have never owned a house before and I am struggling with where to start.

I have about 150,000 DKK saved up to get on the ladder, but Im not so sure how far it will go.

I contacted my bank DanskeBank but they said I would have to talk with a lawyer first before they would even consider me, but they didnt specify WHAT I had to talk to a lawyer about.

Can anyone help me out? Please?

Thanks so much
Adam
