Education

Hi, we are in the UK,, OH is taking on a job in Denmark and originally just he was going to move and I with our two daughter aged 11 and 6 were to stay in the UK.

However we decided that it be a good experience for the girls if we all moved.

I am a bit confused about the education system, understand it is form the age of 6 until 15 and happens in one school. does that mean all the children share the same cafeteria, school ground, classes?

I understand the school hours are from 8 until 12 for theses up to age nine or ten and 8 until 4 for these over that age.

Are there school uniforms, told some school have them.

Rather then start another thread, can I ask how common is smoking among Danish teens ie 11 upwards, I have been told it is very common, which worries me.
