Looking to move to ecuador

of course bought a news letter from IL now I see its not all that still looking to move to a coastal town with so lifes nice thing like shopping and restruants but still not to much to pay for rent. thing about visiting in may jun 10. any susgestion where to visit. we will have about a grand or maybe 2 per month to live on??? I heard salinas bahia canoa ?? just getting started not sure when we will get moving.
let me claify close by is 30 min drive or 10 min walk do not want remote for now thanks
