I have been looking at moving out of the States and keep finding the "Live on $600.00/mo . . ." all over the internet. (yeah, right!)

If one is not wanting to live the "country club life" - been there and done that - what would be an estimated cost for one months living in Ecuador - - nice 2 b/rm, not necessarily on the beach but warm area, "reasonable" shopping and not way off the beaten path. High speed internet a must.

I know that this is a very hard question to answer without more facts but basically I would just like a reasonable place and a reasonable lifestyle.
