Use us U.S. cell phone while visiting?

15 years ago
We are planning a trip in a few months to make sure we want to move to Ecuador. Will our ATT cell phones work there? If not, what is suggested while we are there for a couple of weeks?

We plan on flying into Quito, but will be going north to Cotacachi and possibly south to Cuenca to decide which area we prefer.
