With all the bantering back and forth, it is difficult to know where to answer some peoples' questions, so I decided to post this under its own heading. Because you indicated an interest in the Cuenca area, I think the very best website for just browsing is Cuencarealestate.com. It might be overpriced and all that, but I haven't found a better site to just look at what is available.
There are lots of horror stories, at least in my neck of the woods, about realtors, especially expats, engaged in some shady dealings, so as was said earlier, buyer beware.
