Here's a topic I'm expecting not to get a lot of responses about, but I thought I'd try. Lots of you have been wonderful about answering my questions about moving here.
I will be moving to Guayaquil in spring or summer and I am gluten intolerant.
Just wondering if there's an off-chance anyone has ever seen gluten free baking products or noodles in any health food stores in Ecuador? I'm fully expecting that no one has.
One thing I do love about the country is that there are many things I can eat that we don't have here that are great substitutes for bread such as Pan de Yuca (best thing I think I've ever tried) and platano verde in all of its forms.
Sometimes though, a girl wants a chocolate chip cookie, a pancake or some pasta. :)
Thanks all!
