Weather on the coast in Jun-Aug

Dear All. My wife and I are planning our third trip to Ecuador, but so far we were always travelling in December / January. As part of the trip we would like to spend over a week on the coast (Montañita, Manta, Atacames). My question is - will we have beach weather in June, July or August? If so, which month is best? Or is it better to wait till December?
