OK - We live in Austin, TX. - Am trying to get a glimpe into life in Ecuador - My husband is "gunho" to go for a visit. However, I have concerns re: the political climate. We do not speak Spanish (well, I little bit of Tex-Mex). Tell me if anyone regrets the choice they made re: moving to Ecuador. We are professional retired folks. Just want to know as much as I can before springing for the airfare and "dog & poney" show. We are liberal minded folk. After all, we live in Austin, Texas, which in no way is actually in Texas.
