What is your opinion?

Everyone advises that we visit and observe Ecudor before taking the tremendous leap of re-locating there. I certainly do agree with that. However, our resources are limited, and I would like to plan our trip so that we can observe the different and varied areas to live. Safety, is a factor for me - my husband doesn't have much concern about that. Thie good folks on this forum have helped me tremendously. We are considering a trip in August of September. Any sage advice would be greatly appreciated. Bet you guys get "swamped" with these requests from the "newbies" - Sorry to request more info - However, if you don't respond I certainly understand.
