Should we panick?

My wife and I will be in Cuenca on the 21st of this month and we are so excited!! we have lined up accommodations through the 24th but nothing thereafter... We hope to secure a furnished apartment through the 23rd of June but our contacts (two agencies) have not provided anything yet... My question is... with Setenario celebration forthcoming, should we be concerned? Is it a realistic expectation for a furnished apartment to be available for this 30 day period? Any advice or suggestions would be deeply appreciated. If you think we're crazy, please don't hesitate to lay it out there.... I don't want to boost the budget again but if I must, now would be the time to know..
