Cuenca with children

I am considering moving to Cuenca. I have two smaller children and am curious if any others have made a similar move and what advice you could pass on to me concerning schools, education, etc? I am mid-40's, retired Navy, MBA, and interested either teaching English or possible teaching at the University there. Thank you.
