Whirlpool

I know this is a boring and mundane subject, but I thought it might be of some value to folks purchasing. My technician who had been fixing my "Magic Chef" washer and an old dryer for years said that if I ever bought new, only buy Whirlpool. The others, he said, had a built in obsolesence. We purchased a Whirlpool washer and a gas dryer (one tank and household valve) and they work marvelously. Definitely worth the extra price because it's quality.
