International Living (IL) Revisted

Because I tend not to ever forget anything...lol...and in my continued interest in providing balance for the readers of this forum, here is a quote directly from the IL Postcard dated September 8, 2010:

"You’ll generally pay $150,000 to $300,000 for beachfront in the quiet residential neighborhood of Chipipe. [Salinas region]"

Actually, you can get a decent place in Chipipe, beachfront, if you deal directly with owners (sometimes even not), for less than $150,000. So, IL is actually quoting prices above the current market, not low-balling as is generally claimed by the "anti-IL" contingent. Things that make you go hmmmmmmm.

Again...I have ZERO affiliation with IL...not as much as a subscription. If it ain´t provided by email...for free...I don´t read it. Just an FYI.
