Ecuador Government Websites to change domain extension

GOVERNMENT WEBSITES TO CHANGE DOMAIN EXTENSION - OCTOBER 5, 2010

The government of Ecuador has decided to change the domain extension for government websites to .gob.ec from .gov.ec . This change will take effect in January 2011. Venezuela, Peru, and Bolivia have already made this change.

(presidencia.gov.ec will now be presidencia.gob.ec)
