Pet Friendly Hotels - Guyaquil?

I checked the pet friendly sites and they say Howard Johnson's acccepts but I called and they said NO. Hilton only takes small dogs, same with Grand. My dog is a 75 lb lab. I fly in late and will travel the next day to Salinas. I guess I could hire a night taxi if all else fails. Are there any hotels people know of that take dogs???
