U.S. Economy

Don't know much about Cuenca, Ecuador, yet, but will soon.

This ole' Geezer, could be one of your resources about the condition of the U.S. Economy for anyone that has any interest.

Things are going great! We are on track to becoming a Third World Country, and probably ahead of schedule. The income disparity between the rich and the poor has never been greater. As an example, the top 1% of the Mega Rich, now receive an annual income equal to the amount earned by the bottom 150,000,000; ONE HALF of the population of the U.S.

Our National Debt is now over $13 Trillion; an amount that cannot possibly be repaid. The Fed is trying hard though, as the printing presses never stop running.

The status of the dollar could never be better. As it continues to decline in value, the Country is one step closer to inflation, and ultimately, "hyperinflation."

As always, the brunt of the Great Recession is impacting heavily on the poor and the rapidly diminishing middle class.

Our Wall Street Buddies are true Geniuses! Not only did they pull off, what Oliver Stone calls the Greatest Heist in American History, (they stole over $10 Trillion dollars in wealth from the rank and file); they took away the livelihood of almost 8 million people, who lost their jobs due to the financial collapse. Is this a Great Country, or what?!

Currently, we have 43 million people living in poverty. Over 40 million on Food Stamps; and one in five children living in poverty. 15 million are either un, or under-employed; 50 million without health insurance or, are under-insured.

(Forecloses, foreclosures, foreclosures. Would you like an update on this debacle? There are some new developments.)

The rich will resist any effort to raise taxes. In fact, many of these jackasses refer to the unemployed as , "parasites," on the system.

Our educational system is in shambles. Our nation ranks 25th in Math and 21st in Science among First World Countries. If you have a chance to see the movie, "Waiting for Superman," you will quickly learn in 111 minutes just how bad things are in public education.

So many, many other things could be said, but let me stop here for now, and wait for your responses.

Question: Do you want to hear more about the state of the U.S. economic and political scene, or, shut the
f . . . up and get back to asking questions about the, "BIG E?" (I'd like to do BOTH!)

Gotta Love those Robber Barons - - they really know how to transform the Country. Be assured, we are on track to becoming a Banana Republic and a true Third World Country.

After all, aren't these sorry state of affairs among the reasons you escaped to Ecuador?

Chow for Now.
