Building Insurance

Do they have such an Animal in EC?
The newer Condo Developments probably do, but what about the older, established buildings in the city?

If it is an inexpensive property, why not just, "self-insure?"

In Florida, we are just one hurricane away from having to do that anyway. The previous Insurers are saying, "no more."

The Problem you have is that your entire Condo Building would have to be insured under one policy, and are the other residents going to agree to pay their, "fair share?"

Yours is a tough one. If you love the property, and you are getting a, "steal of a deal," I'd consider self-insuring.
