Shopping help in Quito

I am headed up to Quito from Cuenca on the 30th to buy some things for our house including wall to wall carpet. Any suggestions of someone who would be willing (for a fee) to help would be appreciated. We have several people here in Cuenca who provide such a service for expats so am hoping the same is true in Quito.
