Bringing my dog to Ecuador

I have a puppy who looks a lot like a pit bull and am moving to Ec in 2 mos. She will be 5 mos old at that time. Anybody know how to get around the law of banned pit bulls? Do they open up the cage and inspect them, or do they go by the paperwork? We LOVE our puppy and both my kids and myself would be DEVASTATED and actually wouldn't move to Ec without her.

She looks like a boxer, so I'm probably going to go with that, but are they banned too? Anybody know?

Anybody have any suggestions or advice???
