A question for Crowdpub

Hi Crowdpub,

I notice you are quite 'crime oriented' in your posts citing statistics and also adding links regarding crimes, etc. Why are you so crime 'OBSESSED'? I am curious to what benefit is this? It is one thing to do it because you are concerned for others' safety but it 'appears' to me that you benefit in scaring those of us embarking on an Ecuadorian journey. You sent me an email offering your services of security in a private email upon learning I was moving to Ecuador.

Do you do this because you care about making money from our fear, or are you actually concerned for our welfare? I am interested in your intention as it comes across as you exploiting future expats for your financial gain.

Would love it if you would clear this up.
