New country has new traditions and the one we keep here at the Ocean Hideaway continues a long standing tradition set by the family Arrizaga who formerly owned the property: Christmas Party at Snra Maria's Barrio (neighborhood). Currently there is a lot of activity from the kithen as we prepare her famous Arroz con Pollo for about 100 -- plus we have bags of cookies and candies for all the kids and our very own SalinasGirl~Amy is joining us again this year and has brought two huge cakes!

Over in Salinas Will Taylor of SCORES/Hostal Aqui thanks to the generous friends here in Salinas all of the kids at the Olon Orphanage will have a great Christmas with presents under the tree and a Christmas feast to pig out on! In addition, we also were able to raise enough money to throw a Christmas Party for the kids at the Barbascal Primary School.
