Salinas Property Taxes

For those of you who live/own a property in Salinas, just a friendly reminder that your Property Tax amounts are now available.

You must go in person to get your amount at the Municipio. No, they do not deliver any mail nor email notifications - it is the homeowner's responsibility to retrieve this info.

Remember in Salinas you also have to pay the Bomberos tax (firefighter's).

Keep your original receipts, if you ever decide to sell your property, or if there is a problem, the original receipt is the only recourse you have. (Make sure your name is correct in their computer systems before you pay!)

Don't forget that they offer a discount (up to 10%) for early payment.
