moving to Ecuador in July

Hello! My husband, children and I will be moving to ecuador in july. We are very excited about the move! We have both been diligently researching all that Ecuador. We are semi-retired, able to work from home (on the internet) now part time. We are not really sure where we want to live as of yet, so will be staying in different regions for about three months, then moving on for about a year. We do not know anybody who has done this sort of thing before, and everybody thinks us "completely crazy", which we may be! :) My biggest fear is to get there and not know anybody, so this is me reaching out to anybody who may be interested in taking me/us under your wing for a few months to help as moral support! Thanks for any advise you may have!
