My wife and I recently met with the Mayor of Salinas, later with the Prefect of Santa Elena and provided them with documented recommendations for infrastructure improvements along the San Lorenzo beach malecon. At a high level they include: Mechanisms for wave attenuation to preserve sand allocation, retaining wall pl...acement and systems to prevent its deterioration, leveraging of trenching for security, lighting and communication ductbanks and safety provisions for the disables, elderly and children. Additionally they were provided to the 5 year provincial strategic planning group. Let's keep our fingers crossed. As we speak Spanish they were provided in espanol. Ed
