Volunteering

Hi Guys,

I have finally bought my plane ticket, i am travelling to Guayaquil on 18 April for 6 months.
I am trying to think of things i can do during my time there, i would like to find work eventually, but for the moment i am looking to adjust to the country and improve my spanish. Outside of work hours i will spend time with a native friend etc but i want to do something useful with my time during the day.

I wondered if anyone here knows of any good volunteering companies within ecuador, i will have my own accommodation etc and am not looking to pay them money, but for new experiences and a way to break into the culture and meet people and use my time beneficialy etc.

Any information is much appreciated.
