Bringing a vehicle into Ecuador

Does anyone know if someone who was granted residency in Ecuador is allowed to bring in their vehicle with their household goods duty free?
When I was granted residency in Norway, I was allowed to do that on the condition the vehicle was registered in my name one year prior to arriving in Norway and the vehicle had a minimum of 10,000Km.
One cannot sell that vehicle for at least three years after clearing and registering it, if one sells before the three years, they must pay import duty plus several other charges and penalties.
Everyone member in the family who was granted Norwegian rsidency is allowed to do that.
Thanx.
