Moving Money to U.S. Banks

Hello all,

I´m writing for some advice about banking. I prefer to keep my money in U.S. banks for investment reasons and to pay off some outstanding bills I have in the States. The problem is that sometimes I have to use Western Union, which charges a sizeable fee.

Does anyone know of any banks that have branches or agreements with U.S. banks? I know Banco de Guayaquil has some connection in New York but I´d need a bank that I could access from Oregon, when I´m home.

Any recommendations about what I should do?
