I know it's possible to drive as far Costa Rica from the US as long as all the paperwork and visas are arranged beforehand and given the necessary bribery medium for the guards at crossings (my friend used to keep pronmags for bribes to keep these types of expenses down, lol).... So,
A) Is it even possible to drive all the way past Panama, through Columbia and into Ecuador?
B) Is there anyone here on this forum with this experience willing to share the pros and cons they discovered?
C) I know there are probably restrictions on imports by year, but may a $7000 valued restored classic car like a 1973 VW Beetle be driven into the country legally?
Thanks so much for the info and sharing!
