SKYPE Phone

Is anyone out there in EC using a SKYPE phone as well as skype on their computer? If so, what exactly do i need to purchase before i move to EC in order to use the phone as well? I am hoping to use a U.S. phone number as well, if possible? Please advise if you have the knowledge. THANKS!
