Taxi Charge in Quito

I will be in Quito overnight for an early morning flight to Colombia. I am staying at the Hotel Boutique Plaza Sucre at Sucre Oe, 2-36 between Guayaquil y Flores.
The hotel is telling me a taxi to the hotel from the Marsical Sucre Airport is $12 - $15.00 - which just happens to also be the price of their shuttle.
Can anyone tell me what the real taxi price should be.
