Visit to Guayaquil/Salinas area

Hi everybody

I am from Switzerland and currently living in the Philippines. I am considering moving my domicile to Ecuador since I have heard and read many good things about this country. My prefered location to live would be on the pacific coast in the Guayaquil/Salinas area. In order to find out if living conditions there would be suitable to me I am planning to travel to this area on an exploration journey around the 10th of June 2011 It would be wonderful and of course of great use for me to be able to meet some of the members of this forum in person who are residing in that area. Could anybody kind enough to meet in person for advice and orientation while I am there Thanks in advance
