Flavors on the Forum

I just felt like posting this. There are so many flavors and different types of people and different types of views on this forum...that in the end it's all good, as long as we are not spitefully mean to anyone. We can poke fun, we can help to educate, we can exchange, we can enlighten... Even ILA's 'gonzo' (as in Hunter Thompson) rants merit some value--amongst all her 'costume jewelry' verbosity--she is like a flea market, you have to poke through everything---eventually you will find a genuine pearl, as Omega has pointed out. Her outlook has been a compliment and contribution to this forum as has everyone's. I admit that I do think that some have 'crossed the mean line' and we just don't need that! Let's all agree to disagree.

Never heard Hitler's words called pearls of wisdom before.....but the quote is one that has been applied and applied...and is being applied right now in the united mistakes as we speak. We are all getting tired of that 'lie'...

SO--there is always something really interesting here on this forum. Hector's wisdom, Mr. Crowder, Silverwater, Vandtor's wisdom...Susan, Bentparrot and Elvis and Colorado Bill and Lilylia..... as well as ALL the others' wisdom....shining through. I think we are an extremely ecclectic bunch, and I think it works.

It's interesting to see how there is a 'different' albeit ecclectic also, group on the yahoo forum, and there are cross-overs.

I think it is a wonderful thing that all these different kinds of people can come together and we can all incite, teach, invoke, entertain, make friends with, learn from, and enjoy each other.

Thank you everyone who participates on the forum. Others that we have not heard from should throw in a few cents now and then, even just to say hello. We are a bit of a family, sometimes dysfunctional and always, human.
