Shipping Assistance

Howdy, I am looking for anyone who is well versed in shipping to Ecuador. I will be moving to Cuenca and I am in need of finding someone who can assist me in getting my container from Guyaquil to Cuenca. I have many reasonable quotes for the trip from my home to Guyaquil About $4500 but the only 2 I have found that are willing to assist with the move from Guyaquil to Cuenca are American and they want almost as much as it costs to ship 3000 miles, as the last leg to Cuenca about 150 miles. Greed is apparently rampant and it really pisses me off. One quote for G to C was more than the cost all the way to Guyaquil. I'm happy to pay but this is robbery and they know it!... Any one with experience here?...Any Americans with connections?....I think this is a great area of business to get into down there btw....I may have to shake up the status quo and beat these jokers with some good ole fashioned American competition!. Any help, direction, assistance would be greatly appreciated...Rod
