Ecuador's new 'green' taxes

Every now and then one of Gary Scott's daily missives contain some valuable information for the expat newcomer to Ecuador. Today's missive has some interesting information about the proposed new taxes on new automobiles, elec., and other things, seemingly making Ecuador more of a third world country. The gist is, that the 'perceived' rich will pay alot, and the ultra-rich, of which Ecuador does have about a dozen golden families, will be relatively unscathed.
