This week's guests are a great example of one of the wonderful things about Ecuador:
A country the size of Nevada yet with so many different choices of places to live and visit --and to re-visit!
We had a wonderful couple form Virginia maing their first foray to Ecuador who spent a week in Cuenca (he loves the mountains) and then too the 40 minute flight to Guayaquil and spent the past week with us here on the coast. Yesterday they too a liesurely drive up to Manta and Bahia for a few days and then will fly out of Quito. They are thrilled and discovered they can plan to "have it all".
Today a wonderfully lady from Canada who is planning on creating a retirement community here on the coast returns to start digging in her roots -- we're thrilled to have her back with us and Miguel will be meeting her at the airport in about a half hour. We're hoping to coordinate her plans with our property here on the coast and expand out with our offerings -- single story rustic cabinas and a holistic approach to healthy aging with wholesome food and natural healing.
And this weeend returning is a lovely young couple who work for one of the more upscale crusie lines -- but when they want down time and a place to come and relax and be pampered, it's home at "their" beach house and the serenity and relaxation of our local simple pleasures.
It is trully a wonderful place to be here in Ecuador. And the best part is sharing it with our friends -- old and new!
