MUY LOCO: Expats in Cuenca

The hostility in the Ecuador Forum is frighteningly over-the-top. Sometimes comical, often not.

I can't figure out what the goal is for this constant stream of toxic bilge? The trolls yelling, the non-trolls yelling at the yelling trolls and even yelling at everyone else who is, or is not a troll... I'm starting to think that the most horrible people America has to offer are the only ones moving to Ecuador. And THIS forum is the only thing on the web making me think that.

I see no other country's forum on expatexchange expressing anything even remotely similar to this forums often mean spirited, childish, mentally disturbed behavior.

Perhaps it gets boring in Ecuador so these particular expats hit the booze, the pills, become lost, lonely and empty and the most fun thing left to do is troll the forum.

I don't know, but I have very strong hopes that I will love it in Cuenca if I steer clear of the Gringos who shout on this forum.
