Reconnaissance trip

If anyone can recommend specific shops in Quito for items listed below, it would really be appreciated. I would like to streamline shopping for prices as much as possible. Furniture (mainly beds), musical instruments (folk-harp, used is OK, I am learning so don’t expect a concert when I arrive...), pet supplies (mainly for dog-crates and a large bird cage). We are not looking for upper-end items (except a good bed). Feel free to offer any other items that we should price while in Quito. My apologies for asking if this has all been answered before. I have a bit of trouble migrating through old postings.
