Need Advice for Cuenca Realtors

I am new to this forum and exploring opportunities to move abroad. Ecuador is at the top of the list owing to its low cost of living and climate. Can anyone please suggest some realtors to work with in Cuenca, ones that speak English?

I do not speak Spanish and I wonder how much of a barrier that will be for me. Obviously I will have to learn when I get down there. Do you have any suggestions for that?

I wonder about Gringo prices. Do you find that you pay more than the locals for items, such as housing, because you are given stupid gringo prices?
