bug bites continued

My daughter is living in EC for awhile and she has come down with a rash and bites. The doctor gave her an injection and prescription for cream. We don't know what the shot was. Does anyone have any ideas about what these bites may be from? Some of our guesses include: mites, chicken fleas, bed bugs, mosquitos, an allergic reaction to a food, something in the water she bathes or washes her clothes. Any suggestions? She is taking Benedryl and using a topical cortizone cream for the itching.
