We are travelling to Cuenca in January for 2 weeks to scout out the area for retirement.
In reading varios blogs I came across this site which conveys info about the food and water we had not heard before.

Can someone actually in Cuenca explain if the water is indeed safe to drink and the produce safe to eat without treating it with nuclear fuel? The article paints quite a different picture than what we have read before. Maybe we just never read the right post?
