Cuenca vs Guayaquil

Guayaquil and 8 days Cuenca. Big dirty city in Guay. aquil. Cuenca is 500,000 but like another country. Old part of city is a bit congested and less clean than the new side of the city. The river Tometobamba or some such name separates the 2 parts. We've had 3 English speaking saviours who have helped us so much. I have names and phone numbers for these contacts to any who might be interested.
