UPDATED PET INFORMATION

I just got off the phone with the Ecuadorian Consulate in Miami and was told to wait 10 days from the date the USDA certifies your pets, then either mail or hand carry the document from the USDA to the nearest consulate. If you mail the form, include a return envelope and a check for $50.00. You then have 60 days from the date of the Consulate certificate to arrive in Ecuador and you should not have to pay any money to customs. The phone number in Miami is: 786-237-2303 Ext 227. When the phone answers and the recording starts press 9, when the recording starts again, press 227. The lady I spoke with is Flor and she was very helpful. The Miami Consulate address is: 117 NW 42nd Avenue, Miami, Fl 33126
