eating out in Cuenca

We are staying in hotels that cost about $70 per day. Nice little restaurante and bar and of course wi fi and tv that has some English speaking tv. When we go out for dinner we go to nice restaurants. Cost is always over $50 with a few glasses of wine tossed in. We have had the $3 dollar lunch etc., but I wouldn't want it for a steady diet. It's cheaper than the U.S. but if you want a nice atmosphere and a sanitary feeling you will pay more. I think it is worth it, just don't get over hyped by those who say it is so inexpensive in Ecuador. Jerry
