Stranded at the Quito Airport

If your ride is not there on time when you arrive .... Its because they have doubled up on the flights now and March is going to be a record they say... The parking Lot gets to full between 8 PM and 11 PM.. We have to park on the other side by the Fed Xpress terminal and walk 25 minutes to the International side to pick you guys up... Its a big problem and we have complained about it to the terminal supervisor and he is trying to get flights in earlier instead of all the flights coming in 12 minutes apart.. Last night the last 5 flights that were suppose to come in before 11:55 came in between 1 AM and 4 AM ... The new telephone number for Americans who are lost or stranded in the airport is 294-4900 and press 3 for English... There were so many Americans lost and worried last night.. If someone is to pick you up stand inside by the taxi window there are seats inside the sliding glass window on your right when you exit the custom doors.. That room is for tourists visiting and there is a government worker that sits behind a computer to help you... Be patient and wait for your ride.. Most of the drivers were late last night and the people got worried and left on there own... Do not trust the taxis's on the National side by Dunkin Doughnuts.. They are independent and do not work for the taxi windows inside the terminal...
