Always check your grocery store receipts!

Today, at the Comisario at El Paseo in Salinas, we went to get a few things. We also bought two six packs of beer. The total seemed qute high, but there were long lines and we did not want to hold up the other customers so took our groceries and went back to the condo.

After unpacking everything, I took a look at the receipt. For two six packs of local beer, we were charged $43.80.

My boyfriend went back to the store with the receipt and spoke with the store manager. Luckily, he is also friends with the head of security there who noticed him on video so came out see what was going on. The manager was very angry over the receipt being challenged, but we had spoken to his friend when we were there earlier and the bag boy remembered us. The manager was trying to say that we must have purchased ten six packs of beer.

The security guy went to the cashier who pretended to have no recollection of our previous purchase even though the bag boy remembered us perfectly
