From Yahoo... 5 phrases you as a traveler should know NOT to use ... and why:

1) Do you speak English, said in ENGLISH (learn to say this in the local language)

2) Do you have change of a $20, said to your bell-hop, taxi driver, maid...

3) I'm lost and staying at ____ hotel, Can you help me? -- yeah hang a lamb chop around your neck and play with a rabid dog for an equally safe outcome! Ask a local police officer or at another hostel/hotel you pass.

4) I don't want to go there! There aren't any reviews! ...you'd miss out on 2/3 of the sights around here...

and last but not least:

5) Geez, it's not like I have a bomb or anything! ...said at an airport.
