Magic white powder

Okay, here's a question for those who've been around awhile.

So, what exactly is the magic white powder..I used to believe it was an old wives tale, concocted by people who needed an excuse for losing (or stealing) the store's money...

That's how they explained it... They're standing at the counter, selling eggs or whatever, then someone comes in, blows the white dust and they don't remember anything else. They wake up and the money is gone. (by the way, none of these stories have ever involved an expat...so no one has to get worried -unless they frequent clubs perhaps).

Two of our security guards went to watch the game last Friday at a questionable establishment. They were dropped off five hours later, unable to walk and every personal item they owned, shoes, Id, money, cell phone- were gone. They don't remember anything except that they were victims of the "white powder". And for the first time ever that I know of, they needed medical attention afterward. Before, people were out for only a few minutes with some grogginess afterward.

So is it something new? Or is the white powder being utilized in different strengths...

.Does anyone know what I'm talking about.....
