Expert 1 International expert (Team Leader):
Skills:
University Degree in Engineering preferably in an applied technical /production field;
Masters degree in engineering is a plus
" Hands on experience and sound knowledge of Total Quality Management systems
and techniques
" Familiar with Automotive Manufacturers preferably Mercedes Benz (VDA 6) quality
standards and procedures to approve suppliers within their supply chain
" Strong leadership skills, ability to work with a wide range of individuals and
organisations, including government agencies, consultants, and enterprises;
" Specific expertise in designing and implementing business upgrading projects to
Automotive suppliers and supply chain
" Proven experience in business planning, project management skills, with the ability to
work to tight deadlines;
" Fluency in English (written and spoken) is a prerequisite.
" Knowledge/experience of Egypts trading environment within the context of SMEs;
Professional Experience
" Has at least 15 years of solid experience in the field of production management and
planning in the Automotive sector, particularly within the context of small and medium
enterprises; Relevant experience in product design is also desirable,
" Has at least 10 years of solid experience in Lean Manufacturing Techniques and VDA
6 requirements as well as ISO/TS 16949:2002 Quality System techniques,
" Deep knowledge on Problem Detection & Containment; Resolution & Prevention,
Product & Process Planning
" Proven practice in cost reduction and waste elimination techniques within the industry
" At least 10 years of experience of operating as a consultant and/or trainer with SME,
during which time the incumbent should have acted as leader of teams of
consultants/trainers on several occasions (may have been acquired concurrently with
the industrial experience)
" Successfully conducted a similar assignment for a group of suppliers approved from a
recognised Vehicle Manufacturer
" Strong leadership and management skills, communication and interpersonal skills,
with the Ability to supervise, monitor and assess the output of the supporting team.
2 International Experts (Team):
Qualifications and Skills:
" University Degree in Engineering preferably in an applied technical /production field,
" Ability to conduct and coach training sessions/workshops to various level of audience,
" Familiar with OEMs requirements preferably VDA standards and procedures to
approve suppliers within their supply chain,
" Strong leadership skills, ability to work with a wide range of individuals and
organisations, including government agencies, consultants, and enterprises;
" Fluency in English (written and spoken) is a prerequisite.
" Knowledge/experience of Egypts Automotive Sector challenges within the context of
SMEs;
Professional Experience
" Has at least 10 years of solid experience in the field of production management and
planning in the Automotive sector, particularly within the context of small and medium
enterprises; Relevant experience in product design is also desirable;
" Has at least 8 years of solid experience in Lean Manufacturing Techniques, VDA
quality standard requirements, Process Mapping and Factory lay-out optimisation
" Relevant sector experience in the Foundry and Paint Material applications,
" Deep knowledge on Problem Solving techniques and Layered Process Audit,
" Proven practice in cost reduction and waste elimination techniques within the industry;
" At least 5 years of experience of operating as a consultant and/or trainer with SME,
" Successfully conducted a similar assignment for a group of suppliers approved from a
recognised Vehicle Manufacturer
