I am planning on moving to El Salvador for 5 years (or more) Feb. 2011. I do not have a Bach. degree. I am enrolled in a LPN program. I thought I would be able to use a LPN certification in El Salvador, inorder to work as a LPN nurse. I found out this is NOT the case and I would need, at minimum, a Bach. Degree to even be considered for a "LPN" nursing position in El Salvador. However, I am wondering, with my LPN certification could I possibly find a position as a Medical Assistant or "CNA" in El Salvador? What other medical professions might I be able to work in while living in El Salvador with only my LPN cert.? Any info./contacts/thoughts would be helpful.
I also have a TEFL certification with some tutoring experience. I am hoping I will be able to find an available position teaching in El Salvador, but have not found much info. on teaching TEFL w/o a degree in El Salvador online. I speak Eng. and Spa. and really enjoy teaching TEFL.
